At least one Resident Food Allergy Expert is scheduled on each shift. Resident Food Allergy Experts have completed the Food Allergies and Celiac Disease Training for Chefs and Managers. This training course has been certified by FARECheck.

FYUL/G8 Station
Foods prepared at the FYUL station are free of the top 8 food allergens and prepared on designated equipment to avoid cross-contact. Designated appliances are directly behind the FYUL station to prevent cross-contact during transport.
All Chefs and Managers are required to complete Food Allergy and Celiac Disease training, certified by FARECheck and understand procedures to avoid cross-contact.
FYUL, nut-free zone, salad bar, panini press
The FYUL station provides packaged allergen-free pantry items to be prepared in a designated allergen-free toaster.
The entire dining hall is nut-free with the exception of one area that offers peanut butter and Nutella as condiments.
Each salad topping has a designated serving utensil for self-service.
Deli papers are provided near the panini press to wrap sandwiches before pressing.
A student may meet with the dietitian and executive chef to discuss allergy accommodations and any pre-order meals that may be required
The allergy-friendly (FYUL) station serves 4 hot items, and four cold items for lunch and dinner every day. Allergy-friendly pizza offered daily. Allergy-friendly ice cream and other allergy-friendly desserts offered upon request.

All students seeking accommodations come through the Disability Services Office.
Students need to provide appropriate documentation from a licensed physician to the Disability Services Office. Students can email, call, or stop in the office to make an appointment with the Disability Services Coordinator.
