Not VerifiedSimple Servings is our allergen-safe dining option in The Caf for guests with food allergies or gluten intolerance. This station also appeals to those who prefer simple foods.
Students requesting accommodations for housing, meals, or academics submit a request for accommodations to our Disability Resources Office. They are assigned a disability specialist who will review any submitted documentation, complete the interactive process with the student, gather any additional information, and work with the student on development of a reasonable accommodations plan as appropriate. Reasonable accommodations for housing are then sent to housing (e.g., single room, kitchen access, etc.). Reasonable accommodations for meals are communicated in a similar fashion (e.g., meal plan exemptions) to the appropriate teams on campus. Our staff work with students to learn how to help manage dietary needs on campus and have access to the regional dietitian, chefs, etc. as needed. If the student is not able to utilize the on-campus dining options accommodations are made and communicated to the appropriate teams (e.g., Housing or Dining, etc.). All reasonable accommodations are determined on a student-by-student basis. We encourage students to self-identify as early as possible and we work with various offices on campus to help get information to students early and often.
