We are committed to working with all students to make reasonable accommodations to meet their dietary needs. Individuals should contact the Bon Appétit General Manager for access to a centralized ordering system.
All managers and chefs complete the manger-level FARE certified training annually even if the location is not fully FAREcheck certified. All hourly staff, including new hires, receive formal food allergen awareness training twice annually. On-going training is provided in daily team meetings.
Residential living is central to the learning environment for all Cornell College students. Virtually all student needs can be met through the standard room selection process and the standard meal plan options. However, students who believe that they have needs that cannot be met through this process may request housing or meal plan accommodations. Accomodations may include a single residence hall room.
Cornell College is committed to being an exciting place of learning and discovery for all of its students and strives to provide equal educational opportunities to students with disabilities. Students who need accommodations for learning, mental health, or physical disabilities must provide documentation from a professional qualified to diagnose the disability, including when the diagnosis was made and the likely duration of the condition; describing in detail the student's functional limitations created by the diagnosis; and indicating accommodations recommended for the student, along with explanations as to why these accommodations would be useful. Evaluators are encouraged to include appropriate medical reports, relevant medical history, test results, and any other records or data appropriate to assist the provision of appropriate accommodations.
