Students with specific nutrition concerns or medically restricted diets should arrange a meeting with our Registered Dietitian, Susanne D’Angelo-Cooley, by emailing sdangelo@bowdoin.edu.
You’ll find our staff concerned and accommodating should you have food allergies or dietary restrictions. We maintain nut-free and gluten-free refrigerators and storage areas in both dining halls to ensure the safety of students with specific dietary concerns. Although our kitchens are not gluten- or allergen-free, we do take precautions to prevent cross-contact.
All full-time staff are trained in food safety and allergen awareness.
