We utilize an ordering app to prepare meals for high risk students. These meals are prepared in a designated area in the kitchen. Extra precautions are taken to avoid cross-contact including obtaining items from unopened packaging, etc. and staff training through AllerTrain is required to work in this area. Additionally ordering of gluten free pizza and pasta are available to all students.
Our Simply Fine station offers foods free of the top 9 allergens, with the exception of a vegetarian option that may contain these allergens. In addition, a simply prepared fish or chicken protein is provided in an isolated serving well.
Chefs, Managers, and Dining administrators are ServSafe Manager Certified. AllerTrain is required for all Chefs and Managers. Cooks, Food Service Aides, Food Service Assistants, and Student Managers are all ServSafe Food Handler Certified.
