VerifiedNutrition information is available through the dining website. Everyday app by Sodexo has nutrition information and and ingredient lists for menu offerings.
Ingredient information is available for most menu offerings through the Everyday app by Sodexo. Students are encouraged to request ingredient and menu information in the resident dining hall.
Staff are trained specifically in cross-contact procedures including handwashing and changing gloves.
In resident dining, students can pre-order meals with our campus dining team if it is determined that the student require the dining accommodations.
Simple Servings is Sodexo’s innovative solution to proactively address most of the ingredients that account for 90% of all food-allergy reactions: milk, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, peanuts, and tree nuts. The 8th FDA specified allergen, fin fish, is included in the offer. Simple Servings also recognizes the current skyrocketing demand for gluten-free foods, which certain students may require out of medical necessity (Celiac disease) or simply by choice.
All managers, Chefs, supervisors, registered dietitians and those working with Simple Servings are required to hold the AllerTrain certificate. Food Allergy 101 for Simple Servings is required for all staff on hire and at least once annually. Ongoing food allergy training is provided to frontline staff meetings. Specific receiver training for Simple Servings is required.
