Top allergens (Egg, Milk, Soy, Fish, Shellfish, Peanut, Tree Nut, Coconut, Gluten & Sesame) are labelled at the point of service in our dining rooms. Allergen and ingredient information are available in an online database for some of our retail locations: https://netnutrition.dining.cornell.edu/NetNutrition/1
We have additional allergy-friendly options available upon request at many of our locations (ex: gluten-free bread, vegan cheese, milk alternatives).
Specific ingredient information can be made available upon request within dining rooms as needed.
Students with food allergies or medically diagnosed dietary needs who would like to request dietary accommodations should register with Student Disability Services (SDS). To register, please visit sds.cornell.edu/get-started.
Pre-ordered meals are available to SDS-registered students through the INDIGO Kitchen. To learn more about INDIGO Kitchen or schedule an informational meeting to learn about how your dietary needs could be met on campus, contact the Dining Nutrition Office by emailing diningnutrition@cornell.edu.
We have a certified peanut-, tree nut- and gluten-free dining room. We produce sandwiches and salads at this unit for sale at our cafes as well.
All staff are required to complete an AllerTrain course annually. The Nutrition Office also provides regular trainings on Cornell-specific practices.
Please review the Student Disability Services Dietary Accomodation Webpage for more details.
