IF WE ARE HAVING A PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES A FOOD WITH A SPECIFIC ALLERGEN (I.E. PIZZA) WE ALWAYS TRY TO HAVE SOME OTHER SNACKS AVAILABLE SO THAT STUDENTS IN NEED OF ACCOMMODATIONS CAN JOIN IN AND HAVE FOOD AS WELL
We ARE VERY OPEN TO TAKING ALLERGEN CONCERNS INTO PROGRAMMING WHEN SOMEONES SELF-DISCLOSES THEIR ALLERGEN TO US. FOR EXAMPLE, IF A STUDENT IN A CERTAIN HALL SELF-DISCLOSES THEIR ALLERGY TO OUR STAFF, WE WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS AND ACCOMMODATIONS TO EVERY PROGRAM EVEN IF WE KNOW THAT THAT STUDENT MAY OR MAY NOT ATTEND ALL OR ANY OF THE PROGRAMS.
EACH HALL HAS A FULL KITCHEN AND SOME HALLS HAVE MULTIPLE FULL KITCHENS. IF A STUDENT HAD ALLERGY CONCERNS PREVENTING THEM FROM BEING ABLE TO EAT ON A MEAL PLAN THEY HAVE UNLIMITED ACCESS TO THESES KITCHENS TO PREPARE ALLERGEN FRIENDLY MEALS.
